Critical Incident Response for Veterinary Teams
When something devastating happens in your practice, the clinical decisions don't stop. But your team is not okay. And neither, probably, are you.
Whether it's the sudden loss of a colleague, a traumatic case, a client crisis, or an event that shook your entire staff β the emotional aftermath doesn't wait for a convenient moment. And as the practice owner or manager, you're often expected to hold everyone else together while carrying the weight yourself.
You don't have to navigate this alone.

What I offer
I provide structured, evidence-based critical incident response for veterinary teams β delivered virtually, with rapid response during business hours.
My approach uses ASSYST (Acute Stress Syndrome Stabilization), an AIP-informed protocol specifically designed for acute occupational stress. It works directly with nervous system activation, requires no forced sharing of personal details, and is safe to deliver in a group setting β even when staff are in very different emotional places.
A typical engagement includes:
A private call with you before the group session β so you're supported and we're aligned before I meet your team
A structured group stabilization session with your full staff
A follow-up group session to assess and reinforce stability
A closing call with you to debrief and identify any team members who may need additional support
This is not open-ended counseling. Itβs not counseling at all. It is immediate, focused, and designed to help your team move through a critical moment with their capacity intact.

Available virtually to veterinary practices nationwide.

When you're ready to talk
You don't need to have everything figured out before you call. That's what the first conversation is for.
