Coaching
Veterinary medicine doesn't come with an instruction manual for the emotional and neurological toll it takes over time. You learned how to diagnose, treat, and care for your patients. Nobody taught you how to regulate your nervous system after a brutal shift, recover from a devastating case, or stay connected to the work you chose when you're running on fumes.
That's what coaching is for.

Sustainable: Group coaching for veterinarians who want to get better at being stressed.
This is not a burnout recovery program. It is not crisis intervention. It is not for veterinarians who have already hit the wall — although if that's where you are, you're welcome here too.
Sustainable is for veterinarians who are still in it, still showing up, and ready to build something more than coping strategies. It's for the ones who want to understand what's actually happening in their nervous system under pressure — and develop real, specific tools to work with it rather than against it.
Over six weeks, we work together in a small group of veterinarians on Zoom. The cohort is intentionally small — no more than ten participants — because the work requires enough safety to be honest about what's actually hard.
What we cover:
Week one — The neuroscience of stress in veterinary practice. What chronic activation actually does to cognition, decision-making, and emotional regulation.
Week two — Autonomic states and how to recognize yours. Sympathetic activation versus dorsal shutdown, and why they require completely different responses.
Week three — Regulation strategies that work in a real clinical day. Not in theory. Not in a quiet room. Between patients.
Week four — Cognitive load and decision fatigue. Why your thinking gets worse as the day progresses and specific strategies to interrupt that pattern.
Week five — The emotional labor of veterinary medicine. Euthanasia-related stress, compassion fatigue, and the cost of constant transitions.
Week six — Building your sustainable practice plan. Integrating everything into a realistic, personalized framework you'll actually use.
Format: Six weeks. Weekly 75-minute sessions on Zoom. Small group, maximum ten participants.
Investment: $850
One scholarship spot is reserved in every cohort for an early-career veterinarian or veterinary technician.
Next cohort: Fall 2026

1:1 Veterinary Resilience Coaching
Some things are better worked through privately.
If you're a practice owner carrying the weight of your team alongside your own clinical demands — or a veterinarian navigating something specific that doesn't fit a group format — one-on-one coaching gives you individualized support built entirely around your situation.
Sessions are 45 minutes, held every two weeks on Zoom, with a minimum three-month commitment. That rhythm gives you time to actually apply what we work on between sessions, and enough continuity to build something real rather than just talk about it.
What 1:1 coaching addresses:
Nervous system regulation specific to your practice environment and stress patterns
Cognitive load management for high-demand clinical or leadership roles
Sustainable performance for practice owners managing both clinical and operational stress
Recalibrating after burnout, a critical incident, or a season that took more than it gave
Format: 45 minutes | Every two weeks | Zoom
Investment: $1,500 for three months (six sessions) $1,350 paid in full
